Make Me a Super Model Party

What little girl doesn’t want to be a super model? Every little girl loves to get dressed up and wear make-up, this party will be every little girls dream come true. 

For this party you will need dress up clothes. Now some little girls might already have them but if not you can always look in mom’s or older sibling’s closets for items that they no longer wear. If you can’t find anything there you can also check a local thrift store, they are bound to have a bunch of items that will be useful at a low cost.

You will also need things such as costume jewelry, boa’s, hats and shoes to complete their outfits. You can pick up costume or children’s play jewelry at the thrift store, dollar store or garage sales if you are planning ahead. Boa’s are easily found at the dollar store. Hats and shoes can either be found in the closets at home, a thrift store or garage sale. 

For the make-up part of their costumes you can easily get cheap make-up at the dollar store or in clearance bins at other stores. Make sure that each girl has her own brushes for eye shadow and lipstick so they do not pass germs back and forth. 

Outside or in a larger area you will need to set up a runway. This can easily be done with material to make the girls feel as though they are walking down the red carpet. If you do not have a long piece of material you can also use old carpet, towels that you safety pin together and many other things. Another idea is to use sticks of wood that you stick in the ground and then rope streamers from stick to stick to make a runway. 

Have each girl walk the runway while parents and other guest watch her. A digital camera is great for taking pictures. If you take pictures and can print them off this is a fun thing to give each guest to take home with her as a memento of a really fun party. 

After this party your little super model will be the talk of all her friends!
