Sitting Pretty

A Sitting Pretty Party is a dress up party for little girls. At this party your little girl will get to explore her creativity by creating her own signature look, and her friend will have a great time too. 

If you want to give your little girl the party of her dreams, you may want to try the Sitting Pretty party, at this party the girls will have the time of their life dressing up, painting their fingernails and getting their hair done. Then each of the little girls can make designer bracelets in which they get to be the designers. Instead of handing out the same old party bags that every other party gives you can get the girls some T-shirts and let them design their own shirt to help them remember you little girls party. 

To prepare for this party you will need to buy snacks and finger foods, there is nothing like eating when you are having your hair and nails done. You will want to buy children’s non-toxic fingernail polish, so that each girl can have a manicure. Also buy some cool looking inexpensive hair accessories and let the little girls to get their hair done. Buy beads and thread in order to make the designer bracelets, this is easily done by buying a hobby kit at one of the many hobby stores. The last items you will want to buy is t-shirts, glitter, finger paint and a tie-die kit so that you can have each girl design and decorate her own shirt. Let each girl explore her own creativity by coming up with the design and showing off the shirt they designed to the parents afterward. 

Because of the amount of supervision needed for this party, you will need to get at least 2 parent volunteer for every 5 girls. This party is for older girls that are between 7 and 11 years old, so you will want to make each girl feel grown up. This party will give your daughter the opportunity to have fun with her friends, explore her creativity and her friends will be talking about her party for a long time to come.
