Treasure Hunt Birthday Party

This party is a pirate party, each child gets to make up some cool pirate name and wear pirate hats and eye patches. Give each pirate a list of booty that they must give, with the final score under the spot X marks. Each child will be given clues on what the next item is hidden and must go through many missions until one child has scored the X. Make the booty something they can keep, also buy a compact disc with cool pirate music and a cake that says something with a pirate twist to it. Hide the booty in places with things that cannot be easily broken, that are not dangerous, and that are easy to reach then send the children off to find them.

To get this party ready you will need to buy cheap pirate hats and eye patches as party favors the children can keep, and a compact disc with the music from the pirate movies such as the music from Peter Pan. You can have the cake made in the shape of a ship or a pirates hat. Another thing you will need to buy is little gifts for the search in both boys and girls, lipgloss, purses, and dolls for girls and toy cars, soldiers and sports equipment is great for boys. You will have to come up with hints to the prizes for the children. When the party is over you can give the children gold wrapped chocolat dollars for the booty they can take home.
